Documentary from Nairobi
As
dusk rolls in over the purple sky of Nairobi, two men are approaching a white
villa in an embassy neighborhood. 12 hours as night guards lies ahead of them
and as darkness falls and crickets fill the garden, some of life's bigger
questions begin to surface.
The
5/3 at 13:00 the Documentary Director student Lea Hjort Mathiesen will visit
Blaagaard/KDAS to preview her short documentary Night Shift that she's produced
in collaboration with DANIDA. Night Shift challenges the genre of documentary
by exploring the borders of Documentary and Fairytale narrative.
Lea
Hjort Mathiesen will be showing the film and talking about her work as a
documentary filmmaker and the challenges that had to be overcome in order to
make Night Shift.
